Have a bowl (Plymouth) about a year old where the base is crumbling around the hole. Two other bowls, comparable age and use, are not showing this. Repairable?
Probably can get some more mileage out of it using a screen. Really wondering about the cause -- if I was smoking too hot in would likely show with my other two bowls.
Also wondering if there's any recommended treatment for briar Falcon bowls to enhance life span.
The bad news is it sounds like a flaw and unlikely to get a replacement from the manufacturer. The good news is that Falcons are made with interchangeable bowls, so you need only use a different one and you are back in business. Pitch the bad bowl and carry on.
