Got my SP alerts recently about Escudo and Reiner gold being in stock. Did my duty and went to check it out. Gone...I mean gone gone...

So...is it that they had 20 tins sent by the supplier...or just a lot of new smokers out there...or people just buying it up?

Maybe SP can advise...just curious.

A lot of stuffs not readily available at SP can be found easily at other sites. I think SP is just a better known online tobacco vendor.

Before the door was slammed shut by new laws, they were my preferred on-line tobacconist.

But at least you can always have Rattrays Ole Gowrie, St Bruno and Erinmore+ In my books .Reiner Gold is not that much better of OGS so for that price they ask for the Reiner in the US I'd rather consider having some less pricey alternative

The last few notifications I have gotten from smokingpipes has been the same (sold out by the time I react), not Escudo, but other blends that they have a hard time keeping in stock. I imagine this is really good for them, but I hate change, and I hate the idea of having to look at other vendors for my tobaccos. But... it's like they are daring me to shop at these other places.
