My work pipe is no more. I carelessly put it on the bench seat of my golf cart and it fell off. I'm blind as a bat so the black case blended right into the parking lot. After realizing it's not in my truck I back up to the shop and hear the crunch and instantly knew. You served me well little buddy. You will be missed.

You have my condolences. I frequently leave my meers on the kitchen island, uncased. If one of the cats flick a meer onto the hardwood floor in the middle of the night, it's my own damned fault. Maybe your tragic photos have scared me straight.

Yeah, sorry for your loss man.

I remember we had some friends over to my in-laws lake house many years ago. My brother and his wife brought their dog. The first thing that fucking dog did was get up on the counter and chew up my father in-laws Meerschaum pipe… it just made me sick. He was very cool about it but I could tell it broke a tiny piece of his heart. He refused to let me replace it or pay him for it.

That's the risk with truck and car pipes, and travel pipes. You have the photos to remember it. And it came with its own little coffin for a proper burial.
