In a 2018 thread that is closed for further replies, Jon Guss mentioned
the company didn't change its name from Lewis & Hardcastle to Hardcastle Pipes until June 1, 1936.
Does this mean that pre-1936 Hardcastles are marked 'Lewis-Hardcastle'?

Also, are the grades on Pipedia that are from the 'Family-era' pre-1946 (the Dunhill buyout), or pre-1967 (the merger with the Parker line)?

Hardcastle dating and history is interesting and mysterious.
