Howdy! I've been following this forum now for sometime as I have been 'discovering' some of the great old American pipes. Dabbled in pipe smoking back when I was a tad younger, and gotten back into it as a nice relaxation ritual now about 15 years later. I didn't stray very far with tobaccos or anything else back then, but just put together an order of some aromatics in the vein I used to enjoy and some of the 'true believer' type tobaccos (Stokkebye, Gawith Hoggarth, HH Old Dark Fired, etc) to branch out a little more.

Love the aesthetic of pipes, love the smell, taste etc. Still working on the wife, but getting there. Thanks for having me.

I understand "working on the wife". However mine never cared either way.

In her eyes, and realistically true, one day I was just magically a pipe smoker. Not something I was trying out, like a phase. Just happened. The day I got my first pipe, was the day I became a pipe smoker.

Welcome!

Welcome from the Central Coast of California!

Please put your location in your Profile, as people are forgetful.
Why:
That will save questions in the future as to where you live when you later mention local stores, weather, tobacco prices, availability, regulations, location of photos, wildfires, air quality, etc. In many instances that saves time for those who read your posts. It cuts down on posts or PMs asking where you are.
How:
Under your avatar, (top right, left most of three symbols) you choose "Account Details", which brings up "My Account". "My Location" is halfway down. Whatever you're comfortable with- town, city, county, state. province, etc.
