We held our February New Orleans Pipe Club meeting at Mayan Imports in Metairie last night.
Apparently the shop recently did an inventory and found a few pipes from when it was the Tinderbox location. They decided to raffle off the pipe at our meeting last night. I won.

What did I win?

An Ascorti Special Edition Christmas 2013 pipe made for Tinderbox Metairie. I tried google to get more information but couldn't find anything and the stamping doesn't reveal much. (See Photos) I'm curious about the shape. I think it is a bent billard.
I'm also curious about what I read as AR stamped on it.

Congrats!

Now the bigger question is did you smoke that pipe after visiting the drive-thru daiquiri barn in the way home or did you head down to Cafe du Monde and enjoy it in the French Quarter?
Neither.
I made my self a cup of coffee, loaded the pipe with Vauen Tradition No. 2 and enjoyed a nice relaxing pipe.
It passes a pipe cleaner easily and it was like smoking a fully broken in pipe.

I enjoyed a few hours at the Metarie Tinderbox in 2013, when my daughter got married (with NOLA PIpe show organizer, Toby Ducote).

Congrats on your win!
