I like trying various beverages with various blends and seeing what works for me and what doesn't. For example, Cognac goes very well with VaPers and most VAs.
Recently I paired Kings Stride with a port barrel finished bourbon (Dareringer Rabbit Hole) and it was pretty good.
I also recently paired it with a Bordeaux wine (2015 Chateau Gloria) and holy cow was it good!
With the bourbon it was a nice smoke with hints of chocolate but with the wine it was sweet but not sugary, the cigar was very noticeable, and the chocolate was almost off the charts good. Like a really great creamy Belgian chocolate.
I highly recommend giving it a try.
