Molto Dolce

A few years back I purchased a tin of Molto Dolce. As others have noted, it is sticky, gooey, and almost impossible to dry out. Well I decided to have a bowl of it the other night and when I opened the plastic lid that had been covering it, all the sticky, gooey-mess was gone, and the tobacco was perfect for smoking.
I had a bowl and was pleasantly surprised. The smoke was excellent. Rich, and creamy and the bowl lasted about an hour.
The trick I think with Molto is to let it dry in the tin for a year or more; or, take it out and let it dry until all the above mentioned properties are gone.

I don't have the patience to wait for MD to dry. I like it right out of the tin with the Snap, Crackle, Pop.

If you want a REAL aromatic Molto Dolce is the one.

I keep some of my goopy aromatics in the bail-top jars and it also has allowed them to dry out a bit over the course of months. I don't think they seal as airtight as the 2-piece lids.

Molto Dolce: Much Sweet. Sort of like "capo di tutti capi". Italian phrase we recognize immediately, specially for a boy grew up in NYC. Heard it's good. But it will be a bit of time before I put this puttana in my pipe and ghost it forever.

From U.S. I don't know a way, from others countries in Europe it get's less easy as years go by, typically it is prohibited, the local market does not have many choices,
But I have a small cellar, I don't smoke much, I am good.

Yes.

I forget the others off hand, but seem to recall @Chasing Embers knows about 3 other Sutliff blends that are labeled differently for bulk sales. Queen Anne's Revenge and Barbados Plantation, perhaps?

Many of their bulks are sold tinned under a different name.
