More Meerschaum Coloring

Here iare some pix of my Meer. This is the one I bought on Ebay for $10.99 a few months ago and fixed up. The color is coming along nicely. I apply some Burt's Bees lip balm, which contains beeswax every time I smoke.

I realize the lighting is a little different, but you can really notice it around the shank and the carving. The recesses have started to darken.

very nice how often do you smoke it?

Maybe once a week on average. I may do a smoke-a-day with it for a week to see what it can do.

Do you simply apply the Burt's Bees lip balm while smoking? Do you rub it in with a cloth?

I rub it in with my fingers while smoking and after the pipe cools I buff it with a soft cloth.

one bowl a day would help it but try to do eight :twisted:

That thing has a big bowl. 8 bowls would take me about 12 hours! I wish I had that kind of time.
