I decided to veer a little away from Italian pipes and I picked up the Paul Becker Estate. Now I have to camp by the mailbox! Just in time for me getting my covid loss of taste back.

My first was a Manz estate, looking at getting another of his soon. Barbi is one to look at. There are more I can’t recall at the moment. Wolfgang Becker is super.

I have one German pipe, a Vauen. It reminds me of van Gogh's Starry Night. Came with both a standard length bent stem and a churchwarden stem, so you can smoke it as either. Highly recommended.

There is a German Becker, too. He is not related to the Italian one who is deceased. Like the design of the pipe!
Yes, the German Becker is Paul. Smoking his pipe right now. Paul Becker pipes take a 9mm filter. Even with the filter it has a super open draw.

I liked my first Paul Pecker so much I hunted down another. Its a little more conventional than I typically choose but I liked the grain and the lines a lot. The silver was a nice addition too. Its on the way. Time to set up camp at the mailbox.
You certainly have an exquisite eye for pipes. My own are so much more vanilla in comparison. Well, I suppose one either has the eye for these things, or they don't.
