My Grandpa

I’m 84 YO my grandpa died a long time ago. My memories of him are faint. He was a pipe smoker, drug store pipes I’m guessing. He had a can of PA at his setting place and a rack of 4-5 pipes. He was successful before he retired having the first irrigation system west of the Mississippi River. I sometimes feel his presence when I’m alone with a bowl of PA and in metaphysical meditation. A 1/4 of him is in me. Pipe smoking and Prince Albert has brought us closer. I can feel it.

Nice story. My grandfather also had the PA and SWR tins sitting on top his old Silvertone radio that sat right side his personal armchair. Many, many, many memories of him smoking PA and I myself love it so it must run in the family.

My grandmother has told me about his father smoking pipes and even having crooked teeth because he was a hard clencher. But none of his pipes or pipe stuff got through to future generations. Enjoy your memories and your pipes!
