He threw it in as a gift with the pipe I bought. On one side it's Stamped Monarch then under that it's stamped Pat.1989069. On the other side its stamped 10330. The little circle on the stem is a hole, which I'm assuming is a carburetor since it's outlined in metal and looks as though it is meant to be there.

I had an Aerosphere, produced by Duncan Hill, that I bought from someone on this board.
The line had been taken over by Carey Pipes by the time mine was produced.
It looks as if that general series of pipe has moved through various NAMES, i.e: Monarch, Duncan hill, etc., but it *appears" that Monarch is still the maker of the pipes, as well as the Magic Inch pipes.
In any case, my estimation on the pipe is that it is in the 1930's to 1950 range. Don't know anything about them, but that is what the reading seems to indicate.

Established in Hartford Con, most likely in the late 1930 by Fred Warnke, who obtained a patent on the system pipe on January 22 1935. the company way moved to Tulsa Oklahoma at some point in the 1950 where it remains to this day. The Monarch Pipe Co. also makes E.A.Carey Magic Inch and Duncan Hill Aerosphere Pipes. Sam
