ashdigger,There are two options. One it that it’s a pipe shop brand from the 1930’s and the other is this from pipedia. My money is on pipe shop brand from the 30’s. Algerian Briar and stamping being biggest clues.

I forgot to add that those should give you lots of good service. Old Kaywoodies are fantastic smokers.ashdigger,
Thank you sir for the information! I feel like you put your money on the right option!
I’ve not really dealt with estate pipes much before, but I decided to pick these two up and I know the Kaywoodie brand, but hadn’t ever heard of the Pelican Pipe. Your information is very helpful my friend.

They really are fantastic. I picked up that 40s unsmoked apple kaywoodie with hesitancy and it is a great little number.I forgot to add that those should give you lots of good service. Old Kaywoodies are fantastic smokers.

That’s a fine looking knee too. Lol. Great pipes!Picked up two estates and need some information on one of them!
One is A Kaywoodie Signet with a threaded stem with a stinger.
The other is a Bulldog with the words Pelican Pipe stamped on one side and Aged Algerian Briar on the other side!
Anyone know anything about a Pelican Pipe?View attachment 94895View attachment 94896View attachment 94897View attachment 94898

bayareabriar, thanks for your compliments sir lol...That’s a fine looking knee too. Lol. Great pipes!
scloyd, very good eye sir! I hadn't even noticed that myself until you mentioned it. I will check it over good this evening and see if there is anything else on the stem.I have a Dusky Dulcet that looks exactly like your Pelican. I noticed your Pelican stem is stamped FRANCE. Any other markings on the stem?
well Pelican of courseThe question is what blend does it smoke?
I don't know. I see the Pelican opening a tin of Pelican after reading about it and then saying it's not bad but I don't get the hype. Like I've done with Bob's Chocolate Flake. It wasn't bad and I'd smoke it again but I wouldn't buy it either.well Pelican of course
another on, Pelican pipe tobacco of course ?Now I can't get this image of a Pelican sitting like they do with that pipe dangling out of it's mouth. The question is what blend does it smoke?
