Found this little stubby pipe on eBay and got it for a song. I can’t find any info on it, but it sure smokes nice. The rim is a bit beat up, and the bowl itself has been used extensively, but it’s a super lightweight clencher. Does anyone know more about the origins? It’s stamped “stubby imported briar” on the side of the shank, with Italy stamped on the underside. The stem has a non-removable stinger and a white w marked on the side. Here’s some photos!

Well looking at the wood, taking into account the stamps, really focusing on the imported briar stamping and Italy, the use of a ball and hole stinger and button on the stem, a shot that it’s a tobacco pipe and it’s from Italy.

Thank god you were here to identify it. I was gonna load it with lawn clippings! Jokes aside, it’s a fantastic little workhorse. Especially for $8!

Cheaper than a cob and a briar, looks like it will clean up nicely, congrats on a great find.
