Rub the top on concrete long enough and it will just fall off.

After popping the seal, use a couple sheets of that grippy shelf paper and it'll twist right off.

I should clarify, one sheet for the top and one for the bottom. Gives you the grip to do the job.

Ah! I remember opening my first round tin. I couldn't figure out how to. But have few friends who retired from Army SF. They suggested det cord.
