I’ve always been interested in buying a pipe with light or no stain at all and very curious to see how dark they change over time. Does anyone have some pics they could post and maybe say how many years of smoking are on it? Thanks.

I bought a nice churchwarden from McQueen pipess with just a thin layer of beeswax for this very reason and love it ! Only used it a few times because most of my pipe smoking is done on the move but it's a cool concept to let it age and gain a "natural" finish!

Currently smoking hell out of a Morgan Bones brandy, but it hasn't colored much yet. I do have a patina fetish and always liked the pipes Peretti often uses in their ads. Don't know if this qualifies as an example of either coloring or patina, but I do like the look. (Old ad, not current.)

I gifted a waxed but unstained smooth bulldog to a friend
I was surprised how much darker it had become after only 20-30 smokes
Sorry, no pics.

Here's a post on the forum that shows the coloring of Morgan Bones pipes.
