Wow! Those old pipe magazines are great!

I love to look up on Google maps the addresses of old businesses and see what is there now. Sadly, along with most of the businesses advertised in the first magazine - loved their logo, btw - most of the buildings which housed these pipe businesses are gone; and, new apartment buildings have been erected where factories once stood in NYC.

I was only able to find these two places. - Sherm Natman

Back when Pipes and Tobacco Magazine had an online presence they offered digital copies of many, if not all of the old publications. Somewhere around here I have CDs with all the old magazines like Pipe Lovers and the PCI issues. Looking for them sounds like a perfect project for Winter blahs.

Love the ad copy that says "A GOOD Pipe Is An Investment in Daily Pleasure" It is rare to see that much truth in advertising.
