So I just got a bunch of Robert McConnell K&K produced Heritage Blends , not quite sure if these or the Charatan clones were supposedly closer to the Murray's era Dunhills. So some insight into Dunhill clones would be nice but onto the subject at hand.
The Tin description of the older Arango Cigar Scottish Cake tin reads:
Ready-Rubbed natural plug tobacco of Virginia and Perique
And the K&K produced tin reads:
Dark Virginia and Kentucky with a pinch of Perique
I have seen Scottish Cake mentioned as a great VaBurP, wondering if the Arango version is an entirely different blend as in does not contain Burley and furthermore is there a giant difference in these two eras of Robert McConnell blends in general?
I'm starting to think K&K is just tinning the same 8-10 blends and just slapping different labels on the tins.
