I know a lot of people are over limited releases, and for the sake of this post I'll skip explaining why they do it, but this new series has me excited. Challenge coins, patches, pins, and phenomenal tobacco. Six new blends for a year worth of releases. I really dig the Episode V after trying them all in Chicago. Jeremy recommended knowing how much I love McClelland Black Shag, a stoved Virginia. Episode V is a stoved Virginia, stoved Katerini, and stoved Rustica. I liked it enough that I bought the nine pound block at the silent auction, so I'll be set for a little while.20230518_180736.jpg

I've never seen a nine-pound block of tobacco, and one recommended by its owner no less. Thank you for posting. I like a good Virginia, but I am first a burley smoker, and I seem to enjoy it in a variety of blends, as a base or condiment.

Keep us posted on this series. It sounds like an innovate sales concept.

I'll be sure to post as they release. I have samples of all of them so I can talk a bit about them, and clearly plenty of this one. Lol.

Interesting series of blends. When does Episode 1 release?

The challenge coins are neat...are these expected to be included with the purchase or something that has to be bought separately?

Because of the space reference, the release schedule is Episode IV, V, VI, I, II, and then III. The coins will be included in every tenth tin. Episode IV comes out July 12th. Then every other month thereafter.

Please start a new thread on this topic.

I have never seen a 9 pound block. Very cool. Enjoy.

The birds of a feather series was great and I’m excited to start seeing more exotic leaf in limited offerings, now if they would just start producing a shag with dark Peruvian Leaf like the old Gauloises and Gitanes , I’d finally have a desert island blend

I'm working on getting a stoved Virginia shag so I'll mention it, but I have not gotten very far with it.
