Having started to lose my hair in my late 30's, I wear a wide brimmed hat year round. Straw/mesh in the warmer months, fur felt in the cooler months. They offer excellent coverage for the face, neck and ears, and look good as well. Nice hat sir!

Having just had a couple knots frozen off the bridge of my nose, that hat has a special significance. Hats are a religion to me having had two rounds of Mohs surgery to remove spots on my face in the past. This time was less involved and easier. Now I'm back to sun screen, but always the hats.

I can't beat that straw hat for a brim for summer. I do have a drover's hat in felt that does the job in cooler weather. Hats are good. You can't miss with hats. Wear your hats.
