Couple of tobacco Qs for the group:

1. Just got a few new blends including Sutliff Carolina Flake, which is as dry as Corn Flakes. Normal? Not? Thoughts? Advice?

2. All of my loose tobacco is in jars (see pic). A few of the jars have a film on the inside , which I assume is condensed moisture. Good? Bad? Happy to have your thoughts - thanks!5D871817-8881-48D0-A140-28CAEDC357BF.jpeg

Some blends come dry. If bulk blend, it can be on rather dry side. But most would smoke fine.

Moisture inside of jar. Well, there will be moisture. But if there's condensation on the wall, that indicates area where the jar is is little warm. Or tobacco is oversaturated. First, make sure it's not in direct sun. Second, make sure it's not in warm/hot spot. Moisture and heat usually help mold to come out and play.

Having said that, haven't really had any mold issue keeping tobacco in mason jar, yet.
