Tsuge Sakura Pipe Purchase

Dear friends ,
This afternoon I purchased this spot on Tsuge Sakura ( cherry blossom ) pipe and I'm chuffed.
Behold the multi-layered, wonderfully undulating blast . The mouthpiece is ebonite.
I suspect this to be an older line of pipes. Not much is to be found about the Sakura series, so any info is much appreciated.

As weird as it may sound that is the best patch of unblasted smooth I've seen on a sand blasted. Can I justify my opinion with anything more substantial then because I like it? No I can not. I know at some point I will get another Tsuge, so happy with the one I have now.

The odd and most particular sandblast reminds me of Japanese sand raking.
Never seen a blast like this . I wonder about the technique.
Probably Japanese Zen secretive mystery magic.
