I had purchased a Pete Christmas 701 earlier. I like the looks of that so much that I decided I needed a 103.

And while I was at it - I have a Ropp Vintage that I really like - the horn stems really appeal to me - so I got this Vintage Superior.

Looking forward to their arrival, and breaking them in with the usual reliable suspects.

I really enjoy my vintage Ropp. It was one of my first non-basket pipes. The horn stem is small compared to many vulcanite and acrylics, in width. But, it smokes wonderfully. I hope you enjoy yours.

They arrived yesterday. I smoked a bowl of Lane Ready Rubbed in the Ropp. Smoked well; the taste was a bit different then LRR usually is, but that may have been body chemistry at the time. I'll give it another bowl today.
