This weekend I visited a neighbor who had an amazing guitar. It was a new reproduction of a pre war super jumbo Gibson model SJ200. (Super Jumbo) Sunburst finish, and just incredible craftsmanship.
The previous weekend, a fellow arrived to jamb and he brought a Larravie and an Orangewood guitar. Both of those were also special.
I play, usually, my cheap assed Rogue that I found in the dumpster outside my condo.I replaced the nut and bridge with bone, changed the tuners and strings, and loosened the truss rod, and now it speaks volumes!

Last year I found another guitar in another dumpster on our property. It was a Japanese made in 1986, Ibanez V300. I don't think it had been out of its case in decades. Spruce, Mahogany and Ebony! What a rescue!
