Picked this up recently, and it's a wonderful recording of these concertos. If you don't know the history of this pianist and how this recording came to be made, it's worth looking up. She sacrificed quite a bit to get this recording made, and it was well worth it both to her and to any listeners.
These dudes should've invited Cornel Wilde to join their band (Cornel & Deal).
Alanis Morissette - Hand In My Pocket
This early track by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers has a definite Van Morrison vibe that I really like!
More than a vibe!............... First I've ever heard this song and I would've bet my paycheck that it was Van. The voice is something, but the instruments sound like a Van song. Thanks for posting this!

We will try the Stanley Brothers and "16 Greatest Gospel Hits". Not the best of the Stanley Brothers but it isn't bad.

Born 95 years ago today, Link Wray (who died in 2005), was a major influence in Rock history. Here is the 1958 recording of "Rumble" by Link Wray and His Ray Men that both Pete Townshend and Jimmy Page, among many others, list as the record that got them started.
Didn't know the name of the artist or song but as soon as I pressed play I recognised it. I realised it must've been a movie I've watched so I Googled it and it's been in a few films i've seen. Awesome
Won't be everyone's cup of tea, but been listening to a lot of MC Conrad the last few days. He passed away on Tuesday at the age of only 52. A big part of the UK's drum and bass scene particularly in the late 90's, early 00's
