I was out earlier , walking the 'hood' for about 45 min. around 4:00 a.m. with my Forecaster smooth 1/2 bent billiard and some home made VaPer consisting of all Sutliff components. VA slices, Stoved VA, and Perique.
Heading back out after having made a Wal Mart run, with my smooth Grabow Omega and the same mix.
1/2 bent pipes tend to avail themselves to clenching and therefore, lunting.
I think I know now, why the tenon has a piece broken off on my Forecaster. Likely it had a very restrictive and weird stinger that the previous owner forcefully removed. It still smokes smoothly and the stem is Lucite.

Good weekend and pipes to all! Started with C&D Burley Flake #1 in a Burak Connoisseur smooth Tankard size 2; the small pipe surprised me by providing the best smoke I've had with this bend. Following with the always comfortable Carter Hall in an Upshall B Dublin/Newmarket Quarterbent.
