Now smoking year 2015 H&H Viprati in a 2018 smooth straight flame grain Basil Meadows Merchant Service "Bing" replica with an aluminum band and black ebonite stem. Just finished this Archie story, and will do a little on the next one.

Went to the local B&M hoping to snag a tin of the new GLP, Geomtrie, but they didn't have any. They did have Bankside though, and I hadn't tried that one either so grabbed a tin. Smoking some now in an Ashton Pebble Grain billiard. I think this is a pretty special tobacco, and I am really impressed. The smoky nature of the Latakia and DFK are really noticeable in the first 10-15 minutes or so, to the extent that I wondered if this should really be considered a VA-based blend or more of an English/Latakia blend.... But after that, the flavors come really begin to express those VA flavors. All the while the DFK and Latakia provide depth and balance and a pretty full body for a VA.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian 263 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem.

Half way through this bowl of Angler's Dream in a 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 egg with a smooth brown front and a black sandblasted back with a dark gold ferrule and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Fed the ferals, and ended work for the day.

Last smoke of the day is C&D Virginia Flake in straight medium brown 1922-1937 Irish Free State era Peterson 222 bullcap with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Reading baseball box scores while this bowl lasts.
