@BCF I read online that cassette tapes and Walkmans are making a comeback; I used to have them but haven't seen any for years!
Dad's been clearing out the spare bedroom and he's found his old 80s Sinclair ZX81 (2k upgraded) and Spectrum (48k). He's contacting the new Derby Computer Museum about them and asking if they're of interest. We donated our vintage 1920s cooker to Chesterfield Museum some 20 years ago when it finally became electrically unsafe. They've had 3 cookers in the last 22 years since; nothing's made to last any more.
I've acquired a classic Nokia 3310 mobile phone in the last year and would like to keep it until the 2G sunset (by 2033)...
Haha! I love it. We haven't done an inventory here, but we can't have any more than 10 cassettes, maybe? Those things surely had been through the wars back in the party days. I remember guys used to have the briefcase, and even suitcase sized, cassette carriers, taking them to field parties. A lot of tapes. I wonder if they've survived.

Sunday morning relaxing in the garage for a bit. Some nice pourover and so Doobie Brothers "Black Water" seemed appropriate to start. Peterson 2018 Xmas 01 seemed (and I was right for once) the right pipe to try this Savenlli 140 for the first time. I really like it! Can't put my finger on it, my palate isn't refined like many, but it seems like Lakeland without the too much Lakeland - Grousemoor "light" (YMMV, and I love Grousemoor). Decided to pop a tin of Peterson Flake yesterday anticipating using it in the new Meer in a few weeks, and only aired 24 hours, but I've never had it and this little @Luiz Lavos that got ignored in favor of all things Xmas for many weeks seems just right for sampling a flake after a bit. This was his first go with this blast on a little stack and it is a great little pipe - don't sleep on his pipes! Novice tip - if your Peterson lighter isn't lighting right off and seems inconsistent and you've cleaned it and it is still hesitant, check the darn flint even though you see kind of a spark - it's the flint dummy!
