This thread is confusing.

There is nothing wrong with the pipe.

It's a fairly rare model --- A CaviCasiCamiArmoli side-loader with the BBQ distressed finish --- but that's it. All is as it's supposed to be with the design. Worth $400 -- $600 easy.

I'd say just smoke and enjoy it.

Bridges in America are a horrible investment right now as most of them seem to be falling apart, too bad we don't have an important Cabinet position that tracks and plans for these things. If you caught me a couple months ago .. well that would have been a different story!

Practice your techniques if you want. I like saving stuff. Grind down the stem for vulcanite, and the briar for other repairs. It’s a donor pipe.
