We have two Maine Coon male siblings that get along like most brothers, not too well. One is a portly gray cat who came named Shaggy, we re-named Garland, and when he didn't respond much to those, he took to being called Lefty, his being left-pawed.
His brother is a mackerel tabby (for the M on is forehead) with four white boots, one special black toe, a wide white bib, a milk mustache, and an incredibly long tail, and more stripes than are legal.
We call the gray cat Lefty-Tunes, and a Well-Rounded Cat, and his brother Fred, and Sugar and Stripes.
They are rescue cats out of a drainpipe in a town called Fuqua-Varina. We had no idea what breed or if they had any breed, but they grew up to be Maine Coon clones, if not pedigree. They have the spiky hair in their ears and between their toes.
Maine Coons often share a trait, when vigorously scratched and petted, they arch their backs and flop over on their sides for a belly rub.
