On all my sandblast and rusticated pipes I use Halcyon II wax. I apply it using a small paintbrush. It can get in the nooks and crannies. Wait about 1/2 hour then buff with shoe brush. Then once it’s had time to thoroughly dry buff some more…Looks great!
What kind of wax did you use? You got a nice shine with whatever it was and just a shoe brush.
