I’ve owned this for nearly 10 years. I don’t care for the Rolex line outside of the Subs and Sea Dwellers.

Omega has recently blown me away with their Seamaster 300 Coaxial Heritage. A throwback to the original 1957. I had to buy it.

My taste in watches is simple. I do not like superfluous text on my dials. Both my Sub and now Omega share the cleanest, most unadorned dials. The Sub having only two lines of text, not four. And I never understood why a diver would need to know what day it is underwater. Neither of my dive watches have that unnecessary complication.

It finally arrived and better than I’d hoped. Here are some snowy wrist shots. - and a side by side comparison with it’s nearest competitor. Enjoy!

I’m happy to report that I have better taste in watches than I do Tobacco.

I honestly can say… after wearing my Submariner for 10 years, that the Seamaster is going be taking its place for a while.

That Omega is gorgeous! I hope to one day have a watch that comes in its own wooden box lol.
Thanks, Mike. I hope no one thinks me a watch-snob. Nothing could be further from the truth. These two watches were purchased 10 years apart for a reason.

I enjoy wearing my Japanese dive watches to bang around in day to day. I’m wearing one now. One of the kids made the beaded bracelet.

I used give the Rolex much wrist time. But prices have skyrocketed. — I’ll be wearing that one on Thanksgiving or Christmas. 👊😎

On edit. -The Rolex was my gift to myself when I retired. I’m certainly glad I own it. But boy it hurt to buy it even then!

Around here?

I don't think so, I think if you follow and contribute to this thread, you can appreciate watches of all kinds.

I feel my humble Timex has been dramatically improved with the addition of a softer leather strap from Fulmosa on Amazon. The hard leather of the original strap really got in the way of me enjoying it.

Have had this for about 13 years. I asked my cousin to buy it when he was living in Japan as this model which syncs to the atomic clocks was an exclusive there at the time.

The top left button is going and the battery finally needs to be replaced. Anyone had their G-Shocks repaired?

Got tired of having to grab for my phone to find out what time it was. Haven’t worn a ⌚️ in years, but recently decided to come back from the land of the socially dysfunctional. Not expensive, gets to the point & suits my taste. It’s strange though…now affectively I’ve been weighed down by time. 🤣☕

Yeah those Seiko 5 watches are a great value and they look sharp. Nice choice.
