I remember reading one of the 'classics' talking about how the oriental cigarette companies always made very tasty smokes when they started, gaining a reputation for a good blend of spicy oriental leaf, but would quickly descend into a bland 'straw and camel hair' filled smoke, making way for yet another oriental cigarette company to start up...

Had a good friend named Abdulla back in highschool. He was an Afghanistan. That was in 80s. He smoked Marlboro.
I smoked the 'Reds back in the 80's-early 90's............... now I drink a cocktail that I make at home, called the Cowboy Killer............. It's DAMN GOOD! and yes, it reminds me of the good old Marlboro Reds............
