Do you ever have those moments of shallow contemplation and arrive at the conclusion that you might be a highly obnoxious individual to some or even many? Not that I ever have, ahem, but I do worry that some people I know might.

Personally don't really are what people think, you go through life worrying about what other think of you, well that not much of a life.

While I agree on some level we do exist in a society that rewards non-opinion based ass kissing.

I've been on my own since I was 15 yrs old, i'm 55, I never graduated high school, never went to college and i have an excellent career because i bust my ass and get this ... people like me and like my honesty. i have a select group of very close friends, true friends that would do just about anything for me and vice versa, they like me and care about me for who i am. I need no other fake idiots that's asses i have to kiss. Everyone is different, if you feel you need to be a different person depending on who you talk to or what you want that's your gig, not everyones. *shrug*
I've always wanted to tell you that I find you wise, charming and funny!
Sometimes I briefly wonder before concluding that I am to some most likely.
There's a fine line between tact and kissing ass. The truly obnoxious trample that line.
If you don't sign my paycheck or share my bed, my concern with your opinions is waaaayy down there on the list.

I'm an aingisoir ergo, I am obnoxious. Certainly nothing to worry or be concerned about.

I do believe "owning" personality traits (if you don't want to change) vs. trying to disguise them is the best for all involved.

Yeah probably to some people I can be obnoxious. I know there’s been a lot of times in my life that I’ve put my foot in my mouth and said stuff I regretted. It used to keep me up at night to be honest but it bothers me less as less as I get older.
I don't worry about being obnoxious, I'm committed to being obnoxious . It comes rather naturally.
I do my best to be pleasant and to keep my negativity to myself (there’s a lot some days!).
I did just recently discover, however, that among my 9-year-old’s friend group, I’m considered one of the “cool dads”. Kinda made my day, actually.

I know that to some, I will always be obnoxious. In general I try to be kind and treat others how I would like to be treated.
I am coming to realize that I can't control anyone but me so I'll do the best I can and what someone thinks of me is their business.
