I’m a bit surprised that the entire cigar world is not boycotting this, and companies refusing to buy and sell, until cubans are sold at a reasonable market value with reasonable profits, not extreme gouging.

But, on the Honduran, Nicaraguan, Dominican Republic side, I see some seriously jacked up prices too, I’m assuming has been fueled by this.

I seriously can’t believe Cuba has any shred of respect left in the eyes of the cigar world.

I always thought in the world of business market practices, that if are not playing by the rules, sooner or later it comes around and bites.

Like you just can’t gouge, step and walk all over people and the industry and survive.

Like how the saying goes;

What goes around comes around!

If you're the only one that makes a product that people want and buy as fast as you can produce are you saying you'd lower the prices? They never have and never will have any reason to care, no one is going to boycott them and the people that can afford them will always buy them, there's more than enough people that can afford them.

Sometimes compulsion pays off. I'm glad I bought what I did eight years ago. It's true for pipe tobacco as well, I'm perfectly fine dying with tobacco stock. I haven't made a Cuban purchase in a long time, I'd say about four years ago was the last one and I'm done.

The problem, at least for me and my fellow poors is that the demand is still there and they are selling everything they can rush out of the factories. Just how it is i suppose.

Considering China considers themselves Communists they sure have a lot of wealth and like to buy things as commodities and have collections of those things. They are doing socialism wrong! LOL

Yup, the demand is there, bigger than ever I suppose. The weather conditions was also harsh this year, Cuba had one of the worst years in terms of tobacco farming.
