Also glad it was only a dream! When you do smoke it, make sure it’s in a carpeted room.
That's GREAT advice. Any time I handle amber I do it over something soft. Of course, recently I didn't follow my own rule, dropped a 100+ year old amber stem, caught it on my belly (prolonged beer drinking saves the stem!) and it gently fell to the table I was working over. I took some pictures, smiled at my great belly catch, took a photo, then when I was looking at the photo, noticed the following (see chip missing at red arrow).

Miraculously I was able to find the missing chip under the table against a wood floor.. It glued back in and with amber CA glue fill, you can't tell it was ever broken.
