That's unfortunate. I find EMP to be a mild yet flavorful blend and rather enjoy it. Certainly don't experience any ill effects from it and do enjoy red Va and often smoke it straight. If it doesn't work for you there are many other blends to enjoy.
Got a shipment from Smokingpipes today. Steamworks, Union Square and some various Sutliff samplers along with some Captain Black and a MM maple pipe. First time smoking a maple pipe, seems okay at first pass.
Smoked a bowl of Sutliff Estate Blend in a new MM maple pipe. First time smoking a hardwood MM, seems like it might be okay.
Moved on a Sutliff R-18 in a Brulor billiard. Mild tobacco with nice flavors. First time trying it.
Great review. I've been thinking about picking one up but have remained on the fence at the price point. Your 'great value bun' and 'miracle whip' reference encapsulates the situation with wonderful clarity.
San Cristobal Revelation. Tasty cigar, turned into a cocoa and pepper flavor about an inch in. Notes of cedar and a bit of a wormwood note on the retro nasal exhale.
