I've been reading about what makes it your favorite, which one you like & dont like, and its got me very curious to what these pipes look like. I'll start, mine's a Cornwall stamped made in London England, with research I've found that it's a GBD second, it has pits & fills all over it so I get why it was a second, but it smokes like a dream & now has me looking for GBD's. I got it as an estate gifted from my son, dedicated it to my favorite blend, 1Q, & I love every smoke!!!

Well, forgive me but I'm going to break the rules right off the bat! LOL. It's very hard to determine a favorite, but currently my 2012 St. Pattys Day 80s Bulldog is probably my favorite smoker. However, I also find myself reaching for my Peterson Aran Dublin and my Brigham Chinook as well. Hmmmmm, right now, it's the 2012 St. Pattys I guess, but I'm posting my other two because I don't want them to feel left out. LOL.

My favorite (as of right now) is this 317 System. It's the smallest system pipe Peterson makes and I like this compact size. The pipe, tool, lighter and a small tin of tobacco fit snug in a small leather pipe case which I carry to work or wherever. The little bowl is perfect for a 15-30 minute smoke after lunch. As advertised the system does indeed smoke dry even if I get in hurry and heat up the bowl.

Crpntr - you're talking about a great "seconds" if it's a GBD seconds. Those pipes are vastly underrated in my book. That one's a classic, even with the fills

This picture is absolutely horrendous. I'll take a better one and re-post. Here is my pride and joy: my Savinelli Autograph #5. It is the most gorgeous pipe I've ever seen, and I got it for a steal ($30). Restored her stem to stummel myself, and she smokes like a dream.

It's really hard to name a favorite. On any given day any one of mine could be my favorite, if that makes any sense. At the moment though, I'll go with my SD Cob.

It is hard to decide. Maybe these two guys:

They are the Stanwell POY 2010 (the smooth one is a limited editionone) pipes.
Or maybe this Savinelli poker or the Stanwell flamegrain in the background):

I had been searching unsuccessfully for a GBD in this shape, when forum member weezel gifted me this fine beauty. I did some restoration work to it and now she gleams. The pipe is also a great smoker (as are most older GBD's). It gets to set in it's own pipe stand near my rack, in a place of honor.
