ulrich: Is that a wound in the pipe or rusticated on purpose? Maybe a flaw covered with rustication?

Oh they definitely cover flaws in the briar, there are a couple carved spots. Despite this, it's still my favourite pipe.

Just one??? Oh, boy. Well, if it had to be just one, I'd say it'd be this one:
SasquatchProfessor2.jpg

This is what I call "The Professor." A pipe I had custom made for me by Todd Bannard (Sasquatch, in the forums), in Canada. He makes amazing pipes! And he spends a lot of time and TLC on the stems of his pipes, which are all handmade. You can check out some of his work on his website briarsweatandtears.com

Best of all, she smokes even better than she looks.

Wow, Sorringowl, that one trips all my triggers! Lets see a top shot of the bowl and that lovely Cumberland stem! Nice work Todd!

Here's one from close to the top (should've taken a top shot). Yes, Todd does excellent work!

Sorringowl, that's a great looking pipe (and some excellent photos, too!)
I'm looking at the spigot... are those hallmarks on the "starboard" side of the stem tip? Is it sterling silver? Just curious.
